Probate is a legal process of administering the estate of a deceased loved one. There are many legal requirements and rules that must be met before the estate can be distributed and our firm is able to handle the entire case from beginning to end in order to alleviate the burden of the court process.

The estate’s personal representative must be appointed as either administrator or executor to open the estate. This includes filing the appropriate paperwork with the court and getting an order approved and signed by the judge.

Once the order is filed, the personal representative must inventory all of the assets that will be distributed through probate and possibly have a probate referee appraise the value of certain property. Furthermore, the personal representative must pay the necessary taxes and debts of the estate before distributing the funds to the beneficiaries.
